These are the steps to transfer your real estate license to a new broker in Michigan:
- Log in on the MiPLUS website using your credentials.
- Proceed to the ‘Licenses’ tab and next to your license number, select ‘Modification’.
- Here, you’ll be asked to choose a ‘Modification Type’. Select ‘Transfer or Employing Broker Notification’ and continue forward.
- You’ll need to enter the information for your new employer.
- Review the details and submit the application.
Your new employer should be informed about your desire to transfer beforehand so that they can approve the application once they are notified of your request via email.
